SGD 1,681.99 worth of excitement

It's 12:40am and I'm having a blast doing a marathon of Big Bang Theory seasons 1-3. An SMS popped on my phone that says:

Transaction of +SGD1,681.99 was made on your credit card ******* on 17-Aug-10 12:16AM. 

Yey! Canada just charged my credit card! This is a good sign. I read somewhere that they only charge your card if they don't find any obvious problems with your initial application. I'm keeping my hopes up, as always. Can't wait to see the acknowledgment letter!
