Ethan learns Xbox

I've returned to playing the Xbox more frequently the past few days, partly because a new NBA 2k11 patch (v1.3) came out, and partly because I'm bored with the internet.

As he normally would, Ethan will try to join in on whatever I am doing and the Xbox is no exception. As soon as I sit in front of the TV, he'd be climbing right on my lap and snatch the controller away from me, saying "Cars! Cars!"

By Cars!, he means the Pixar Cars demo that came out more than 2 years ago. I remember showing it once to him when he was more than a year old but he didn't care much then. I didn't think that he'd still remember the game.

At first he would just sit and watch. He'd laugh whenever I bump into other cars and he'd giggle when he hears screeching sounds (like when you press Start). After a while, he'd press the buttons himself - usually the start button.

Since yesterday, I don't even have to "play" anymore. He asks for Cars and I fire up the game for him. He grabs the controller and waits for my instruction. I tell him to press A, and he would do so. And now, he goes pressing A every few seconds to get the car running and giggle away the rest of the time. He usually gets from Starting to Finish Line in about 20 mins.
