It wasn't really much of the checkup though. It was basically just a confirmation of what we already knew - that Lani is pregnant, she's already 8 weeks into it, and her due date is 16 June 2013.
The doctor did a quick ultrasound so we had a glimpse of the baby. It's too early to tell the gender though, but it looks very much like Ethan when he was still Bubwit - a rabbit. Heart is beating well and size is just right for its age. She's also briefed us logistics and financing aspects of the pregnancy. We've decided on Westmead Private Hospital so she's given us the admission forms for that.
Everything looking good so far, except of course for Lani's whole-day morning sickness.
