Erin's first cinema experience

So we went out today to do a bit of grocery at Costco and we ended up at Reading Cinema in Auburn. Since we had time to spare we decided we'd try watching a movie with the kids and give our little Erin her first movie house experience.

I remember when we did it with Ethan it was a disaster. The first time we tried he was too young and the movie was age-inappropriate (Twilight). He ended up crawling and playing on the floor. The second time was Lords of the Ring and we wound up playing outside the cinema while Lani and Kuya Jr watched. So needless to say, we were a bit worried with this being Erin's first.

Ethan picked Disney's Home was I thought was a perfect choice. We bought popcorns and drinks and went inside immediately. The cinema was still empty and there wasn't anything on the screen yet. Erin slumped comfortably on the seat between me and Lani and started nibbling on the popcorns. As the commercials started, her eyes lit up and she was plastered on the very very big screen in front of her. She just sat there and watched while continuously reaching out for popcorns. It was cute!

She felt asleep about 30mins into the movie and woke up again just 10mins before the end.

All in all, it was an uneventful experience which is what we wanted.

Ethan, of course, enjoyed the flick and said it was a wonderful day to be with family. And it really was!
