NAPLAN 2021 - Ethan and Erin

Very very proud of our kids. 

NAPLAN results came out this week and both Ethan and Erin's results were impressive. They both  achieved marks way above their respective year's averages.

Looking at the (badly scanned) graphs below, the four graphs shows to Reading, Writing, Language Comprehension, and Numeracy (Maths) marks for the kids (circle dots), the national average (black triangles), and their school's average (white triangles). You can see that both Ethan and Erin surpassed not only the national average but even their own school's average. In some of the areas, they even went higher than the band by which kids their age were being assessed (those were they are on the top triangle/arrow).

Of course, accomplishments like these deserve a treat. And in perfect timing with the easing of lockdowns, for the first time in months we went out to have diner at a restaurant. Erin wanted Pancake on the Rocks and we were all happy to oblige. 

 

 

PS: The Bacon and Chicken Pizza was really really good. Even Ethan you normally don't like to try new food enjoyed the guacamole layer on it.
