Watched Wicked with Lani and the kids today. We’ve been wanting to watch this since it started in August, but it’s terribly expensive. Last Friday, I found a Black Friday sale for only $79 each in a very good location (Row N, near middle), so I quickly booked.
Before the 6:30pm viewing, we had a quick Kebab dinner near Sydney Lyric Theatre.
The show itself was fantastic. The 2 leads playing Glinda and Elphaba were both superb. The stage and customes were top notch. The kids said this was one of their favorites. It helped that I forced them to read up on Wizard of Oz the day before, so the got to enjoy the references and the characters.
100%, I recommend this to everyone.
