Bubwit's first 3D scan

     Eh... sorry, no picture :(

     We went for the fetal anomaly scan today. Lani was in the room for about 20 mins, and the doctor scanned every detail of Bubwit's body.

     The good thing is everything looks ok. Bubwit has all the body parts.

     The not-so-good part is, doctor said one of the kidneys seems enlarged. Although it's not a major concern right now (cause they do tend to level out in time), the doctor recommended a rescan when Bubwit's bigger.

     Now the bad part, Lani is very worried. And she's crying because of it. It's not unusual for her to worry a lot - she's a gifted worrier, but I just wish she'd be more positive... for her own good. So, I need everyone's help to assure her that everything's gonna be fine, and that Bubwit will be a normal healthy boy.

     Now, about the 3D scan. After the detailed scan, the lab tech called me in so I can also see Bubwit on the monitor. When I got there, his 3D scan was displayed on the monitor. Unfortunately, we didn't get a printout. Bubwit was still too small and too skinny for a 3D photo. Di pa sya photogenic.

     The one thing that we noticed though - Bubwit looks a lot like me. He's got my lips and Lani's big ears! Pero, he's payat unlike us.

     He is also very malikot during the ultrasound and the lab-tech couldn't focus on his heart because he was really rolling over. Cute cute talaga. And finally, they confirmed again that he is a boy!
