Reading animals names

We bought Ethan a set of flashcards a while back and but have kept them away because we was just throwing them all over. I thought I'd try to get him to read the flash cards now and so I took it out.

Guess what, of the 50 flashcards, Ethan managed to read 40. Yes, read! And yes, 40! That's 80%. He's not even 2 years old yet and he's already got 80% on his reading quiz. Nice!

The words he read are: lion, cat, dog, pig, ants, bear, deer, sheep, zebra, bees, chicken, rooster, cow, fish, horse, bird, elephant, giraffe, snake, wolf, fox, panda, butterfly, squirel, penquin, rhino, whale, dolphin, gorilla, duck, turtle, tiger, octopus, owl, frog, rabbit, camel, goat, monkey, and seal.

The 10 the he couldn't read were: walrus, armadillo, chipmunk, grasshopper, ostrich, raccoon, kangaroo, alligator, koala, and mouse (I know he can read 'rat' but it's not in the set).
