Broken iPhone and Ethan's first bus ride

My badly dilapidated iPhone suffered yet another blow yesterday when I dropped it as I hopped out of the car. It fell face first to the concrete pavement and the front glass got all smashed. Thankfully, what's left of the phone is still working - it still boots up, has display, and the touch screen still work.

Coincidentally, I'm on leave today so I have time to get it fixed. Since Ethan's been clinging to me much of the morning (as he normally would), I decided to bring him along. It's not easy to drive with no one looking after him, so I thought why not take the bus. And so, Ethan's first bus ride!

Ethan was excited when I told him we were going out. In fact, he volunteered to step out of the bath tub, when it usually takes a lot of begging and wrestling to get him out of the bath.

So we walked up the overfly and down to the bus stop. He patiently waited, sitting at the bus stop and was delighted to see bus 7 approaching. I carried him up, tapped my ezlink on the bus and proceeded to the upper deck. He sat on the seat, amazed with the view and all the while saying "7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7!"

After about 15 mins, we alighted at our stop and walked our way to the repair center (Waterloo Centre, near SMU). He was very cooperative the whole time, though he would sometimes stop and look back if there's any thing interesting. It was quite fun!

Anyway, the iPhone is ok now. $90 to replace the front glass and digitizer.
