Ethan's 2nd CWS Thanksgiving Service

We were too busy with the birthday party, I forgot to write about the Children's Thanksgiving Worship Service that Ethan attended on the morning of his party. It passed uneventfully, which makes it such a big deal. :D

You see, Ethan is a very active boy. He never tires of running around, jumping, and looking for physical stuff he can do. The only time he'd be stationary is when he is playing the iPhone. And even then, his 'stationary' is not really that at all, coz he'd move around alot still.

I was the one who took him to the worship service so I was very worried. I brought the iPhone to make sure I have something to pacify him, but of course you don't want a kid playing a video inside the church. So, really I quite nervous especially when we got seated right on the isle 3rd row,  right were minister, the teachers, and all the choir members can see us.

Surprisingly, Ethan behaved almost the entire service. He was very much interested on the organ's prelude and you can see he is looking for where the sound is coming from. And when the choir started singing, he's look fascinated and started to hum with them. He was saying Yes and Amen during prayers (following my cue), and during the lecture, he was mostly looking at the teacher as if he can understand what she was saying. Cute!

At was almost perfect until about 5 minutes before the conclusion of the service. I guess he got bored and wanted to crawl under the seats. Manageable still, though.

All in all, the service went without incidents, and it's a great sign for Ethan! :D
