Family vacation at Sunway Lagoon, KL - Day 2

Woke up early at around 5am to help those who were arriving on the midnight bus. A few of them went to our room to freshen up, and more went to JR's.

After a quick breakfast at 6:30am, went straight to the ballroom to perform my duty. Lani and Ethan went down later.

The worship service was very inspiring and uplifting. It was extra special for me because this was my first time to attend a service officiated by the executive minister. The lesson I will remember from today (and I paraphrase):

In spite of all the troubles and hardships that we face, God has kept us in His care, that is why are are still inside His church.

Bro Eduardo illustrated this clearly with a his story of a brother asking what he should do, because he faces so many trials in his life. Bro Eduardo advised him to pray to God for help. He said he does, but then he still continue to face problems. And Bro Eduardo told him, isn't that the proof of God's love for you? That even though worries continues to beset your life, you are still here, alive, and inside the church.

Sadly, the worship service wasn't nearly as perfect for Lani because Ethan decided to be uncooperative. Our sincere apologies to James, Gene, and Riley because Ethan took Riley's toy.

After shaking hands with Bro Eduardo, and some photo taking with the brethren, we were out of the ballroom by 11:30am. Change our attires and went for lunch at Tony Roma's with Bro Rani, Ka Marni, myself, Lani, Jr, Crystalei, Jo, Marissa, Ailyn, May, Victor, and Debbie. A mini celebration of J's birthday.

Quick trip to Jusco again to buy Ethan's month's supply of milk and we're back in the room for a good rest.

Up again at 7pm to join the bowling tournament organized by our District Minister, where Lani hit her current career best 148.  After a very late dinner at Wendy's, we're back to the room for a good night's sleep.
