We go to playground!

The past Chinese New Year was a great opportunity for us - our family - to bond and relax a bit.
It was also a happy time for Ethan because he got time off of school (no one's too young for burn out, I guess), and to have some fun time.

We found a good place to put Ethan in while Lani and myself can also relax - Polliwogs at East Cost Park. See their site here at http://www.thepolliwogs.com/

It wasn't the first time we've been there. We actually went there in end Nov, during the time that Ethan was rejected in the first school we bring him to. We thought he needed to learn to socialize more, so we started bring him to playgrounds and playgroups more often. And this place has been our favorite so far.

Yesterday, we decided to put him on a trial membership. We bought a package of 7 visit with unlimited playtime so he can really enjoy.

On the first day, he did nothing but play with balls and the ball-throwing device. He was still afraid to climb up the stairs or even use the slides. Well, actually he did use the slide - the one of 1years olds, which was about 2feet high!

On the second day, he started just as the first, not caring about anything but the ball thrower. But Lani spent some time with him and convince him to slide together. After several tries, he already started climbing up the slides on his own. Good progress eh!?

Sadly though, everytime we are about to leave, Ethan starts throwing tantrums. It's really frustrating. He complained and cried in the car all throughout our journey home, up until he fell asleep at home. Sigh...

Well, let's see how it goes in the next 5 trips.
