An apple-filled weekend

Spent much of the weekend trying to be a Apple technician. I have an 80% success rate so far, so I guess I'm good at it :D

Thursday, I successfully baked ka Narsing's 2006 17" Macbook Pro to life.

On Friday evening, I replaced the broken front glass of Ethan/Lani's iPad 3. Then, I pulled an all-nighter to work on my iPhone 4 again because the LCD replacement I installed before had some dead pixels, so I replaced it again. After, I realised that I forgot to replace the earpiece grill/cover so I opened it up again a second time.

On Saturday, we went to ka Narsing's to deliver his revived Macbook Pro, and he showed me 2 other 2008 Macbooks that needed attention - one with a bad, unreadable display(lines and colors spread all over), and the other with a bad trackpad (cursor moves but won't click even with an external mouse). I spent several hours trying to fix them and finally conceded that the parts needed to be replaced. I mixed the good parts to come up with 1 macbook that's 100% working, and 1 with a dead display and trackpad. I've taken the dead one with me for further servicing.

Today, I found an old iPhone 3GS that has a dead display and battery. I've just ordered the parts and expecting them in the mail by Friday. This means another fun weekend for me.
