Missed my bebes

Been wanting to write this since Wednesday but didn't have the chance, so let me just say this outloud now:

I really really really really miss(ed) my Baby Love and Baby Bubwit!

I left last Wednesday morning for a 6-day business trip to Bangkok, an events management project. One of those trips where, while you are happy to be travelling and doing something (relatively) different, you are sad that you're leaving your loved ones behind... for what seems like forever.

So, I would like to send my appreciation to our friends who looked after Lani while I was away. I truly am thankful that we have you to lean on during these trying times (ang drama!).
  • Em - for staying with your Ate Lai the whole week.
  • Ka Olay - for the visit and chit chat
  • Doc Ada - for the free consultations :D
  • Lei, Marti, and Donnel - for the long-distance support
  • Ka Haydee - for keeping her company at night, via text.
  • Ka Lariz, Noemi, Ces, JR, Roldan, Eddy, Rick, Christian, Patrick, Oscar, Rosemin, Marlon & Kaye (did I miss anyone?) - for the wonderful karaoke session
  • Papa, Mama, Bro, Malou, and Jean - for keeping her distracted
  • And Nanay, Oyen, Teng, Ate, Kang, Ann, and the whole Epifanio family - for keeping her occupied  :D
My sincerest thank you to all of you.

I'm back in Singapore now and all is well. When Lani saw me today, the first thing that she did was throw up. As in vomit! Mmmm, I guess that's just my Baby Bubwit welcoming Daddy back!

  3. hehe i think thats how you know you're maturing and ready for more responsibility-- when you are constantly thinking of your loved ones everywhere or anywhere you are, and when you take a seemingly negative incident (the vomiting) lightly and turn it into a positive thought! pare, tumatanda este nagmamature ka na! hehe...seriously thats a good thing and funny too!
