Hospitalised again

Lani was hospitalised again last night. She had a sudden gush of blood again at around 5pm and after calls to our doctor, and after attending worship service, we went to Westmead Public Hospital where she was checked and admitted.

The sad thing is our private health insurance has denied our request for cover. So for now till the 2nd of June, all maternity-related treatments or hospitalisation will be out of our own pockets. Westmead has informed us that the rate they are charging for our admission is $1,770/night. Yikes!

Fortunately, the bleeding has stopped again and all tests proved alright. After a long talk with our doctor discussing the risks and her preference for us to stay, she's allowed us to go home.

So Lani is back here at home again tonight. The next 3 days are critical for us as baby Erin crosses to 34weeks. Hopefully, she'll hang on for another 5 weeks. We put all our trust in God.
