After 3 weeks of tiring, nerve-racking trips in and out of the hospital because of threatened pre-term delivery, Lani has finally given birth to our Baby Erin Zoe today.
Lani had another gush of bleeding at 9:30pm last night, much more than the previous ones, so we went quick to the hospital. The doctor checked her and quickly advised us that we are going for CS delivery right away. After some preps, Lani was brought to the operating theater at 12:30am and baby is out at 1:13am.
Baby Erin came out strong. She started crying as soon as her head was out of mommy's tummy and she looked bigger than excepted. She weighed in at 2.36kg even at only 34weeks
Baby is in Special Care Nursery now for monitoring until she can already feed (suck) properly. Lani was brought back to the room at around 3:30am and is resting well now.
Ethan hasn't seen Erin yet, but im sure he is very excited to welcome little Erin to the world
