Ethan's playgrounds

When we first came to Australia in mid of 2012, Ethan was still very young to remember names, much less names of places. So, places are called by numbers to make them simpler. Example, our previous place was #5 because the address was 5 Garden St. The new house is number #12 because it's 12 Chestnut Ave.

And it's the same with playgrounds. The problem is, we've been to soooo many playgrounds, I can't remember all the numbers anymore. This afternoon, Ethan asked me, "Daddy, can we go to playground number 10 or number 6?" And for the life of me I can't remember which places those are.

So to help me out, I'm doing this list.

Playground #1: Westfield Parramatta

#1 - The play area at Westfield Parramatta. The first playground we've been to since moving here.

#2 - The playground at Telopea Park.

#3 - Harris Park, Parramatta, also known as Ethan's hill slide park.

#4 - McDonalds, North Parramatta.

#5 - Can't remember

#6 - North Rocks Park

#10 - Blaxland Riverside Park, which is a huge and super fun playground at the Sydney Olympic Park. The quality was so much better than the previous parks that Ethan decided to jump up straight to 10.

#100 - Ryde Aquatic Centre. It was again a level up because "it has lots of water" so he jumped up the numbering.

#1000 - Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. Again, a level up to Ryde Aquatic, so another jump in number.

#0 - Wannabees Play Town. Yup, zero. Because it immediately became his favourite non-swimming playground that it had to go higher than Westfield Parramatta.

Then that's when he finally learned to remember names. The next ones didn't need numbers anymore, like Chipmunks, Monkey Mania, AMF (bowling, they have an arcade that he likes so much) and... we'll haven't really been to any other since. And I don't think we need to.
