My diet plan - progress

So as I mentioned here, I'm on a week-long regimen in the hopes of losing 6-8kg of weight.

I'm at Day 4 now and here's my progress so far.

I started on Sunday with the weight of 90.6kg (I always weigh in around 8am). On that day, I ate only fruits the whole day and lots of water.  Water melon, honeydew, and grapes. It wasn't easy because I'm used to eating heavy meals so by mid afternoon I was already starving. It didn't help that we went out and ate at Grill'd restaurant in Parramatta, where they serve succulent, juicy burgers. I only ordered salad but it had mayo so couldn't eat that as well. I ended up eating half of Lani's fries.

On Day 2, Monday, my weight at 8am had already gone down to 89.5kg. Woohoo! 1kg drop in just one day. I was only supposed to eat veggies (except potato) the whole day so I got myself some fresh iceberg lettuce, pealed cucumber, and tomatoes (w/o seeds) to nibble on throughout the day. At lunch, I had a pack of steamed (microwaved) broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots which we got at Aldi.

There were some temptation in the evening because we attended a church socializing where there were an abundance of food - chicken skewers, grilled pork, lamb steaks, fried chicken, sausages, the lot! I tried my best to only eat salads, but I couldn't resist the steak so I took one small bite - promise, just one.

Day 3 started with a weight of 88.5kg. I'm doing great, a kilo more down!

This day was about fruits, veggies, and fruits, so I started with a breakfast of watermelon, banana, and a cucumber. For lunch, I got myself an Asian salad pack from Woolworths which had a lot of lettuce, some baby tomatoes, and carrots. I had a couple of oranges for afternoon snack, then Lani prepared watermelon and mango for my dinner.

Today is Day 4 and my weight this morning was 88.0kg. Not sure why I only shed half a kilo, but as long as I'm losing weight, I'm happy. Based on the plan, I'm having nothing but bananas and milk today.

Let's see if I can keep this up.
