After a week of looking for a suitable place, we have decided on the Star Buffet at Seven Hills RSL. We did consider a few other places, namely Blacktown RSL (great food but a bit far and they have a minimum guest requirement), the Ranch Hotel at McQuarie Park (great place, has kids playground, but too expensive), and a few other smaller venues. We visited Seven Hills RSL yesterday and thought it was perfect for what we're planning to do.
The celebration will be on 3 May, which is still more than a month away. We still have a few more things to organize but we've already got the following covered:
- Venue - Check!
- Date - Check!
- Food - Check!
- Decorations - Check!
- Cake - Check!
- Entertainment - Check!
- Photographer - very close to agreement
- Invitations - that's next in line
- Loot bags - Lani's been busy buying stuff from Aliexpress. Hopefully they arrive on time.
