A Family Day

Such a joy to finally have a day to spend with the family.  It's been such a busy two months both in the office and in church that we haven't had time to bring the kids out.  Today, both Lani and I had taken scheduled leaves and spent precious time with the family.

We started the day with Pancake breakfast - our favorite. We bought 4 kilos of the mix from Costco and we just love it!

Then at 10am we headed for the Allphone Arena at Sydney Olympic Park to watch the Disney on Ice show, which we booked several weeks ago. We were surprised to find that our seats where actually very close to the stage - about 8-10 rows away. Erin loves the show, she was all eyes. Ethan, well just so-so. He paid more attention to the rotating light toy than the show.

After that, we headed to the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre, or what Ethan calls Playground 1000. We had our lunch at the cafe and then had a blast in the pool. Both kids loved it! Ethan even did the big slide twice.

At about 4:30pm, we headed to Westfield Parramatta for a quick grocery run. Ethan and I bought Fried Chicken which we nibbled on while Ethan played in the small playarea near the grocery.

We then capped the day with a quiet night at home. Mommy and Erin watched TV (Please Be Careful, Pinoy Big Brother, and Pure Love) while Ethan and I play Red Crucible 2 the whole night.

All in all, a great family day!
