And it's done!

My long list of first-time experiences continue on today. First time to undergo ECG, spinal morphine, in fact even morphine for that matter, catheter, compression stockings, and of course the surgey itself.

The procedure done was Hand Assisted Microscopic Colonic Resection. It was the keyhole type with a slightly larger opening to extract out the colon.

According to one of the doctors, they managed to take out all the tumours and nodules. They were sent out to Pathology to accurately check the progress. Hopefully the results will come out good.

For now, I'm lying down here still groggy from the meds. Too groggy in fact that I've already vomited twice. The good thing is, I'm not feeling any pain... yet.
