Chemo, Cycle 1, Day 2

I wasn't going to post another update until there was a major change in my condition but I thought this is just as important.

But first, let me thank everyone for the outpouring of support on Facebook. Every like and comment brings a ounce of joy and inspiration. I've gained lots of new friends and many have also shared their own expiriences. Again, thank you!

Now, for the important update.

Pins and Needles

Big warning to anyone who's about to undergo xelox, pins and needles don't only manifest on the hands and feet. It can happen to parts of your body where you'd never expect to experience this. 

I went to the toilet at 3am today and used the bidet to clean up. The water was cold and guess what, my bum frooze up. Pins and needles where it's not supposed to be. It was crazy! I wanted to jump out of the sit! And it felt like it was creeping up higher and higher to no end. The sensation subsided in about 5 seconds or so, but it felt like the longest 5 seconds I've had. 

That was one tingling experience I will never wish to feel again.
