Our big boy turned 6 today and we celebrated it with two simple activities.
First off was a surprise breakfast party at the church with his CWS mates. I drove him to chuch at 7:30 so he can attend the 8am Children's Worship Service. Then I fetched Lani and Erin and drove to McDonalds Parramatta to buy lots of pancakes, hashbrowns, and mcmuffins. We then headed to the nearby Coles to buy juices and ice cream cakes before going back to the church around 8:30am, right when the CWS was about to finish.
Ethan loved his surprise party. Thanks to all who joined us and most specially thise who helped (ka Sonia and ka Jon Carungay)
Later in the afternoon, we headed to AMF Villawood to play in the arcade. Ate Maicah was with us and Ethan really enjoyed playing with and against her, even if he couldn't remember her name (he called her Anna, Michell, Maya, and Maymi all in the same afternoon). They played many rounds of Table/Air Hockey and took the 4D ride four times.
Right before he fell asleep, he told us, "I had a great birthday today, Mommy and Daddy!"
I guess that's a job well done to us.
