I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow I managed to convince her to drive us back home on the highway yesterday. It was a 23-kilometer, 25-minute journey of pure adrenalin rush! She's still on learner's license so it was not like she was driving faster than 90km/h. But still, it was a great experience. Not only for her but for me, the passenger, as well. And she won't admit it but I know her knees were trembling the whole time.
She did very well on the road. Stayed firmly on her lane, swerved safely when she had to, signaled properly, kept good distance to others, and maintained her composure even though there were big buses around.
I'm really proud of my love. Great progress in such short time. She must have a really good teacher guiding her! ;-)
I guess the only thing left now is to go on a road trip! Melbourne, anyone?
