Chemo Cycle 5 is done.

Last Friday was the end of my 5th cycle of chemotherapy. I wanted to blog about the experience sooner, but I've always believed in not saying anything when you don't have anything good to say, so I decided against blogging. Because really, there was nothing good to say about the last cycle. The nausea was terrible, muscle pain last longer than usual, and the pins and needles didn't stop all through the 3 weeks.

The only good thing that it brought about was that the doctor decided we'd stop the infusions at cycle 6. Because the pins and needles sensation isn't stopping, he's worried that it might cause permanent nerve damage if we go through the whole 8 cycles. So, my 6th infusion next Friday will be my last. After that, I'll just be on Xeloda pills, which brings nausea but not muscle pains nor peripheral neuropathy.

So, I guess it's a reason to celebrate! I'm graduating sooner than expected. Yey!
