The Ballerina and the Frog

Once upon a time, there was a King and a Queen who had two children whom they love. They wanted to keep their precious ones happy so they searched the kingdom far and wide to find things the Prince and Princess would enjoy - in other words, to keep the little monsters occupied so that they don't trash the house. And such they have found.

Last Saturday, Lani and little Erin started their Mummy & Me Kinder Ballet class at North Parramatta. It was basic ballet class meant for children 2-4 years of age, with their moms dancing alongside to help bring their confidence up.
The 5th position

It did not turn out well for us, in fact it ended up being quite a disaster. Erin came up with a tantrum right before the start and decided she'd bury her face on Lani's chest the whole time, just hugging her, not wanting to do anything nor see anyone at all. Lani ended up doing all the dance routines carrying Erin in her arms. Erin did learn a few things though because when we got home, she went on dancing all the routines taught in class and she was enjoying it.

Ethan's turn will be this coming Saturday when he starts his first class at Dolphins swimming school. Ok, so they're called dolphins not frogs. Ethan is very excited with this which worries me, because in his mind he already knows how to swim. In fact, in his head, he is already 'a pro' at it. Good luck to the instructor.

The terms run until the end of August, so we have 4 weekends of fun to look forward to.
