No, not again!

Mmmm. No, not again!

Well if only I can say that. But unfortunately, I can't. I do have to go through this again - my annual colonoscopy to make sure there aren't any new tumours in my colon.

In all honesty though, I don't mind the colonoscopy at all. If anything, I actually welcome it as a good rest. Coz it's really nothing but a trip to the hospital to sleep. I'd get myself admitted in the hospital, go buck naked under a robe, lie on the bed and sleep until my time is up. When it's my time, the hospital folks would wheel me out to the operating theater, inject something to put me to sleep, and I'd wake up about an hour later feeling refreshed more than anything. And since I'm such a positive person, not worrying at all on what the outcome will be, I get to sleep a very good sleep.

What I really hate about all this is the preparation that goes the day before. And I mean this:

Do I have to describe the experience again? Just thinking about it already making me cringe. The never-ending trips to the loo. The tummy pain. Dehydration. Weakness. Sleeplessness. Really, if anyone is looking for a sure-fire way to lose weight, I believe this is the answer.
