TAGAYTAY
Oct 29, Thursday
- Woke up early for our Tagaytay trip, but had to stop at Robinsons Magnolia for Savory lunch and groceries.
- Went our way to Tagaytay and arrived at Southridge Estates leased by Teng around 2pm.
- Quick rest, shower, food, and picture taking, then we went off to the local of Tagaytay for our worship service.
- Checked in at Taal Lake Hotel for our pre-paid room then went back to Southridge to wait for the rest of the Epifanio family coming over for the 2-night stay.
- Anne, TJ, AC and her kids Ayu and Gavin, Kate, Joan, Erwin and son Tonton all arrived past midnight.
- Myself, Lani, Ethan and Erin left soon after to go to our hotel for the night.
- Woke up around 8am for our hotel breakfast then drove back to Southridge to meet with the family.
- Left again around 12noon to prepare for Chen's wedding (Ninang needs help hair and make up done). Ethan was called in to the bridal room for a video shoot (he's the ring-bearer)
- I went to Ayala Serin Mall to buy us food - lots of turon, French Baker Chicken ala King and Soup on a Bread Bowl, and a couple of corn dogs (pluto puffs) for Ethan.
- Wedding was at 3:30pm in the local of Tagaytay, and reception was back in the hotel, about 5 mins away.
- In the middle of dinner, we felt that Erin was feverish so we retired to our room early.
- Erin still had fever so Lani was stressed.
- I fetched the family from Southridge (i was driving the van), then back to the hotel to pick up Lani and the kids and check out. Then we proceeded to Tagaytay Highlands with Kuya Mike, Teng, the kids, and our sponsors on the other car.
- At Highlands, we got to ride the cable car and shop at their tiangge.
- Had a heavy bulalo and kare-kare lunch at Tagaytay before we trekked back to Manila.
- When we arrive, Ewin commented that Ethan spent the entire 2 hour trip laughing and giggling.
