Vacation 2015, Leg 2: Hong Kong

Continuing my journal of our Philippine Vacation in Oct and Nov 2015.

HONG KONG 

Oct 21, Wednesday

•  Early morning flight to Hong Kong with Nanay and Marti. 
• Arrived in Hong Kong around 10am, met with Tan Tan, and went to Tung Chung to hop on the Cable Car to Ngong Ping. However, the line was so long (it was a holiday in HK), so we ended up shopping in the Outlet Mall.  
• Took the train to our hotel at Mongkok around 3pm for a quick rest.
• Are early evening, Tan Tan, Lani, Marti and I went for a walk to Langham place for some shopping and dinner. Ethan, Erin and Nanay stayed in the Hotel

Oct 22, Thursday

• Early morning worship service. We went to Hong Kong West but they moved their service schedule because of the holiday, so we quickly took a cab to Wai Chai and luckily got there in time (actually 3 mins late, but they let us in)
• Went back to hotel to fetch Marti and Ethan, then went to Disneyland where we spend the rest of the day (till 9pm). Ethan loved the Space Mountain (roller coaster in the dark) and Nanay loved "It's a small World" (children boat ride)

Oct 23, Friday

• Day 2 of Disneyland. Ethan and I rode the Space Mountain at least 6 times.
• Ethan is also getting more adventurous now, not showing as much fear of heights as he used to. He tried all the thrill rides in disney and did in fact enjoy them. Unlike before when he would even go near a carousel.
• Nanay stayed in the Hotel to rest. 

Oct  24, Saturday

• Ocean Park, which we didn't enjoy much because there were too many people you can barely move. 
• Ethan and I did get to try the Walking Dead horror house and the River Log ride that got us soaking wet.
• We left early because we all felt tired of the crowd and heat. Marti stayed on with Roschelle's company. 
• After a short rest in the hotel, Lani and I went out in the evening to shop at the Ladies Market.

Oct 25, Sunday

• Early morning worship service at local of Mongkok.
• Checked out and travelled to Tung Chung for our Ngong Ping 360 tour.
• Lani and Marti did a little more shopping at the Outlet Mall before we headed to the airport for our 7:30pm flight back to Manila. 
• Kang, Kuya Roy and Ate Cel fetched us at the airport
