It's time to rock again!

It has been 5 years since I last performed in a band. And like forever since I last played a rock piece. But tonight, I got to do one of my biggest passions again.

Our locale celebrated it's 40th anniversary and I was tasked to organise the program. It opened an opportunity to re-live my former glory. 

About a month ago, i embarked on a project to start a band at church to perform all the musical numbers in the program. We didnt have any professional musicians but there were brethren who knew how to play and were eager to perform. So we started rehearsals 3 times a week. I played guitars together with Marson, ka Jon Carungay played bass and bro Chris Araullo worked on drums. Maica was our primary vocalist along with Armie, Shane, and Cristine. 

And tonight we finally played on stage and boy did it feel good! We played 3 songs - Today Is the Day To Be Saved, a fun children's song; I Am Strong, a soft ballad; and Luha ng Kagalakan, a rock piece that was difficult but awesome!!! And as a bonus, a had a singing part too!
