I’ve been working this car purchase out the past week. Have been in constant talks with Suttons City Kia over their year-end promos and today I finally bit the bullet. Got a 2017 Kia Cerato S (AV) hatch, metal grey colour, with a number of accessories to go with it (mats, mudguards, visors).
It’s my very first brand new car so I’m very excited. The thing I’m liking very much are:- very smooth ride. Soft steering and drives very straight.
- CarPlay - this is really cool! I’ve been using iPhones for the past 8years and I’d say this is really the first time I’m appreciating Siri
What I’m not enjoying yet
- there’s no tint yet and I feel so bare. Not to worry, dealer will do the tints after the holiday break. They will apply paint protection too, though not sure what that really is.
- cant play videos on CarPlay - not for myself of course but for my wife and kids. We always have an IPad in the car so we can watch movies on Netflix during long drives. It’s sort of our bonding moment. I’m sad that CarPlay doesnt allow it. Well, new project I guess.
