Ethan’s elbow

Ethan had a minor accident this morning. As he was showering, we heard him groan in pain and when I checked in on him, I saw a movie-like scene where he was standing in the shower, water pouring on him, and blood flowing on the floor.

It looked like a horror film. Turned out, ethan accidentally elbowed a broken soap holder on the wall which cause a wide cut on his elbow. It wasn’t critical, but was in a bad spot that it was difficult to stop the bleeding. Everytime he moved his arm, his wound would open up. I decided to bring him to the doctor where he got 5 stitches.

Ethan being himself, didn’t disappoint with his unintentionally funny quips.

On our back back from the doctor:
Ethan: ohhh, it hurts so much. I think I need a quarter pounder to get this off my mind!

Once we got home:
Ethan: You know what, I dont why but I really look cool with this (bandage around his arm). I cant wait to get to school tomorrow!

After I fixed the broken tile in the shower:
Ethan: Ok ok, let me try it with my other elbow!
