Work and Study From Home

Coronavirus is now is Sydney so we are now all working and studying from home. Our office actually started doing this last Wednesday, 18 March, due to the growing concerns over the quick spread of the virus. We are well equipped for this anyway, so it was not a problem.


The kids, however, is a different story. The government issued a Stage 1 lockdown today and recommends all kids stay at home unless the parents are need to send them to school (ie, emergency workers). So today is the first time they are studying from home, and let me say it was a disaster. The kids are struggling to separate home activities from school activities. They act as if its a holiday and are always asking for breaks. Erin is worse than Ethan. She cannot grasp the concept. She would go away from her desk every so often and do other stuff like jump on the bed, pick up her iPad, or bother us from our work. I think it’s gonna be a very long 2 weeks.
