We’ve been invited by the Luzons and Carungays to book a 3-day stay at Crowne Plaza Terrigal and we’re more than happy to go.
It was a quick break and not highly eventful because of the rainy weather, but nevertheless a great break from the covid-mania.
Friday, Jul 10
- Left Sydney around noon after dealing with some urgent work problems and going through blood tests for Erin (had allergy attack the past few days)
- Arrived at Terrigal around past 2 and we were the first to check in to the hotel
- Around 3pm, everyone else arrived and settled in
- Kids stayed in our room for a bit due to the rain
- Around 5-ish we headed out for late lunch and photos at the beach
- In the evening, we ordered Thai food and KFC and had a long night of laughter
- Lani and I stayed up much later to watch K-Drama.
Saturday, Jul 11
- Woke up early for our 8am breakfast booking
- The kids then went swimming in the hotel pool
- We then have walk Schillion Park and walked through 3 lookouts, all while drenched in rain
- Ended up in a Vietnamese restaurant for late lunch
- Attended worship service in the evening
- Then ordered in Malaysian food for late dinner
Sunday, Jul 12
- Woke up early again for hotel breakfast
- Kids went swimming again
- Then attended CWS Choir practice at 10
- Checked out at 11am then headed for photoshoots along the beach
- Brought pizza and other food then drove to Somersby Falls for a picnic
- Kids attended the CWS Online Arts Worshop while at the park
- Adults went down the falls hiking trek
- When it started raining around 3:30pm, we called it a day and headed back to Sydney
- Reached home just in time for the Online Makeup Tutorial at church
