It felt like forever since we’ve been out in the sun with kids and friends. Now that the restrictions are easing and every one of the adults are vaccinated, we get the rare chance to spend time with friends. Most of the time, it’s those events that are unplanned that actually happens. So late last night we decided we’d have a picnic at John Wearn’s Park in North Rocks.
We got up at about 9am this morning and spent a couple of hours preparing food. Lani cooked barbeque pork while I helped prepare Nachos. With the kids and a guitar in tow, we headed to the park to meet our friends. And the next 7 hours was great time spent with people we missed.
