Crown Towers Sydney Baranggaroo

Living like kings and queens for 3 nights - well, that's all that we could afford.

Lani found a great promo from one of our office colleagues - a 2+1 stay at the Crown Towers Hotel in Barrangaroo, probably one of the most expensive and luxurious hotels in Sydney. So as we normally would, we got our friends hooked as well and we all booked a staycation together.

Apr 17, Sunday

  • After church duties, we headed to Darling Harbour to check in at the hotel.
  • Check-in took a while, there were so many people in there
  • We managed to get a lovely one-bedroom suite for the non-suite price that we paid. Winner!
  • The room was indeed luxurious - remote controlled curtains and blinds, automated bidet, warmed toilet seats, TVs in the bathroom, rain showers, everything you'd want from a hotel.
  • After checking in and a bit of rest, we all headed out for a walk in Darling Harbour
  • Then dinner at the Hard Rock Entertainment Quarter.
  • So much walking. I clocked in 22k steps on my watch.
  • Lani and Erin ended the night soaking in the huge bathtub while waiting TV. Kuya, Arien and friends played computers in the room.

April 18, Monday
  • Early morning to avail of the famous Epicurean buffet breakfast
  • Then Ethan and I went for a stroll of the city to look for CAPI Still water to replace the one that Lani took from the hotel. Ethan had his first taste of Starbucks Mocca Frap.
  • Afternoon we all went out to the Darling Entertainment Quarter playground
  • Then headed Sealife Aquarium for our 3:30pm booking
  • Dinner was at Rashay Hard Rock.
  • Again, 21k steps for the day.

April 19, Tuesday
  • Early morning again to try the gym facilities in the hotel
  • Then headed to the pool for a cold morning dip
  • Epicurean breakfast, this time with all of the kids
  • And swimming again, this time with the kids again
  • Dinner at the spicy chicken restaurant in Darling Harbour

April 20, Wednesday
  • Earning morning breakfast again at Epicurean
  • Then last swimming with the kids before we head home

And there you go.
