Nanay's passport was expiring in 4 weeks. Lani and I stupidly thought that we can just go to the Philippine Embassy and renew it and it'd be back within a couple of weeks. Turned out, the earliest available booking you can get from the embassy is in September. So we looked around and found that the embassy is Canberra has plenty of slots available in the next few days, so we immediately planned a day trip.
The last time we went to Canberra, the kids wanted to go to Questacon, but we weren't able to secure any tickets (you can't walk-in anymore). So they went with us again this time to finally get into Questacon.
We left early in the morning, around 6:30am and reached Canberra around 10am. The session with the embassy took less than 10minutes, so we had the rest of the day free for what the kids wanted.
