Blood test confirms again that my thyroid is now normal. Everything else is in good order as well and the infusion went smoothly. I was in and out of the ward in about an hour.
After chemo, I met with my oncologist and confirmed that I will continue on with the 2nd year of therapy. My body has been responding very well with the treatment and I'm not struggling anyway other than the occasional fatigue. All side effects are also well managed so there's really no reason to stop now when the additional sessions will only help clear the cancer away.
And so that's the plan - another year of 3-weekly session til September 2025. Bring it on!
