Lani and I went to the office in the morning and the kids rode the bus to follow us in the city after school. We met them at town hall, just in front of the office building, and headed to the Lego shop (biggest lego shop in Australia, apparently). We then headed to the foodcourt at Westfield for early dinner, before walking almost 2 kilometers to Roslyn Packer Theatre to watch the musical.
The theatre was about the size of Sydney Lyric, but with only 2 sections (stalls and circle). We were seated in the right box seats on the circle floor, which was very close to the stage.
We came to the show not expecting much since we didnt really know the show - other than the premise that someone committed suicide and another pretended to be his friend. And surprisingly it was a really fun show. The performers were great - we've some of them in previous plays. The lead role was play by a stand-in in the schedule we attended, but he did really really well.
Really recommend this show! The kids were happy even though we had to walk another 1+km to Wynyard to catch our bus back to North Rocks where we left the car, and then walk another kilometer to get to the car.
