Wow! Just, wow!
This is probably the most technologically advanced show I have seen. Not just because it's about time travel, but the production itself is AMAZING! The combination of people, lights, screen projections, and robotics was just a complete realisation of a futuristic movie. It was immersive, it was believable.
The performances were good. The singers were wonderful, the dancer were full of energy and in sync. The comedy as spot on. But it was the stage that killed for me. Imagine a car suddenly appearing on stage in a blink of an eye. Or it hovering above the audience with actors sitting inside. It was just ahead of its time, pun intended.
We booked this show more than 6 months ago, so we got them for cheaps - $65 per seat on the very first row of the Level 3 Grand section. We initially only got 4 tickets, but Teng and ka Rowena decided to go with us, so we quickly added 2 more.
The show was at Sydney Lyric Theatre.
