Oh my, that was insanely hilarious!
The kids have been asking to watch this musical but we couldn't find cheap enough tickets to do so. Until today, when I saw an instagram post - a Father's Day promo of $99 per ticket in smack middle of the stalls. It was a great deal cause tickets in those seats were normally in the 140-180 range. So we quickly booked at 5pm and hurriedly drove off to catch the 7pm show at the Capitol Theatre.
We all knew there was going to be some swearing, but some is a humongous understatement. The theme certainly wasn't for kids, but the sattire was delivered in perfection. It was as funny as it was scandalous. We were all laughing throughout the show.
The kids said it was their favorite musical by far. The most fun they've had watching a show.
