A teary farewell

We drove Teng and the children to the airport last nigth. Three weeks had already gone by since they came here.

We got to the airport a little early (9:30pm) and the check-in counter was not even open for their 1:30am flight. So we just sat there at the airport lobby while Ethan played with the kids at the kidde playground.

When it was time for them to go, we gathered up and walked them to the immigration entrance. The kids went on to kiss Ethan goodbye. I guess he knew what was happening coz you can see his eyes starting to get teary. As soon as they entered the glass-paneled gate, he started crying.

He cryed loudly saying 'bye bye' and 'open', asking us to open the gate so he can go to his Ates. It was really heart breaking. Lani also started crying.
