15 houses in a day, whew!

Yup, we went to view 15 houses/unit today.

Started the day with worship service at Lindfield which ended around 10:00am. Then we quickly drove to Blaxland Rd at Epping to view our first house, followed by a short trip to Boronia Gardens in Epping (which I love but is beyond budget), then a trip down to Carlingford Rd just by the corner of Marsden Rd. All three inspections where from the same agent.

Then we moved on to William St in North Parramatta, then to Telopea (a cute house that Lani loves), a drive again to 2 apartments near Eastwood, then to Gladstone St in North Parramatta (a house which we both love, though we didn't like the small 2nd room). Then we finished off the day with ta few more viewings in North Parramatta, including an apartment block right beside a cemetery.

What we've gathered so far:
  • Thank God we already bought a car!
  • Be nice to agents, because you'll see them again in the next house you're viewing
  • North Parramatta near Pennant Hills side is lovely. Lot's of space and lots of greeneries.
  • North Parramatta near Church St is cheap. You get the same city-living vibe that you see in Geylang.
  • Most of the units (at our budget) are not furnished. Only 1 is furnished (Telopea).
Well we've already seen enough and we'll be deciding on which one to apply for tonight.
