Blue Mountains again, after 8 years

It's been a long 8 years since we last went to Blue Mountains, a trip that made us dream of spending the rest of our lives in this beautiful country. Today, with some of our INC friends, we went back again to enjoy nature's glory. Such magnifient view!

Highlights of the day:
  • Started the day early (6am) with a quick trip to Epping to fetch bro Joey and sis Edith, our travelmates for the day.
  • 7am meet up with the rest of the group (bro narsing and family, bro Dennis and family, bro Denmark and family) at Parramatta
  • After a smooth 100km convoy, we arrived at our first stop - Echo Point, lookout to the famous three sisters. Ethan absolutely loved it.
  • Travel 10 kms further west to a park with a huge playgound and a nice picnic area. Snack, Lunch, Snack, and playtime with Ethan.
  • Travelled back to town to the Scenic World park where we rode the "World's steepest Railway," walked a 10-min forest/mining path, and rode up again on the "Scenisceder".
  • A quick drive to the nearest park for Snacks and relaxation. This is also the same park where Lani, Donnel, Marti, Lei, Tita, and I went for a lunch break 8 years ago.
  • Home at around 6pm and ready to sleep by 9.
Here's a nice before and after picture. The one on the left was taken in March 2004 and the one on right was today, 8 years after.
