Last friday, 21 September 2012, was our 10th wedding anniversary. Lani and I decided that we'd keep the celebration simple so we didn't plan for anything much. We both went to work, ate home-cooked adobo for lunch, and KFC take-out for dinner.
I did try to be a little romantic though and surprised her with a bouquet of flowers and a card that says this:
My dear Lani,
Ten years. Wow!
There are no words to describe the joy in my heart, how blessed I feel and how thankful I am to God for bringing you to my life.
Even though we've spent most of the past 10 years literally together 24 hours a day, I still yearn for each new day knowing that I have you – to wake up with, spend my time with, chat with, laugh with, cry with, fight with, play with, pray with, dream with, and live the rest of my life with.
I love you very much, Love. I look forward to another 100 years of this happy life with you and Ethan.
