"Daddy, if I die, are you going to fix me?"
Ok, we knew where he was coming from with the question. We were talking about how Tom and Jerry always fight and hurt each other, and he did ask about Annoying Orange getting cut with a knife. So, topic was indeed about getting hurt.
But really, how do you answer that? Do you go serious and really try to explain the meaning of death to a 4-year old? Or do you just ride on with his simple understanding - i.e., like the way his character dies in minecraft, or how phones can die (break) and still be repaired, or what a fun nursery rhyme it is when humpty dumpty fell off the wall and could never be fixed again.
