A blessed Centennial Worship Service

Last Jul 27, the Iglesia Ni Cristo celebrated it's 100 years of re-establishment. Our local and district were fortunate to have been granted the opportunity to take part in the grand celebrations through a video-conference link to the Philippine Arena, where the celebrations are held. We were among the thousands of congregrations worldwide who witnessed the spirit-filled worship service lead by our Executive Minister.

I also had been blessed with the enormous duty of standing in as the Technical Coordinator for the district of Australia-Oceania during this event. The role was responsible for ensuring all participating locals in our district were prepared and well equipped to join the video conference. This included coordinating between the INC Technical Resource Group in the US and the technical leads of each local, organizing meetings and tests, providing technical advise, monitoring progress, maintaining a technical hotline, and providing actual-day support.

There were 17 locals that participated in our District. Locals from all over Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea. This meant I had to work round the clock for 2 weeks coordinating between multiple time zones (US, AU, NZ, and PNG). And I had to do most of it while I was also busy at work.

With God's grace, the event went really well. All our preparations and hard work paid off - not just for myself but all of the technical leads in every local.

It was an overwhelming experience for me. Tiring yet very fulfilling. I have met new friends and gained better appreciation of the Church and the locals in our district. I was exhausted but I was highly energized. Truly that super human energy was bestowed upon me.

I'm proud to be IGLESIA NI CRISTO!
