The Aussie Test

Lani and I took the final step in our journey to fulfill our dream of becoming Australians - the citizenship test.

We booked this about 2 months ago and got an appointment for today, 12 Sep at 3pm.

We got to the Parramatta office at 2pm and waited an hour for our turn. Apparently, you can't get ur queue ticket until 5 mins before your scheduled time. At exactly 3pm, we were both served by pinay clerks who took our passports and identity docs and had us sign the forms. Took about 15 mins to get everything sorted, then we were led to the exam room.

The exam proper was very quick. Lani finished hers in about 3 mins and I took about 15 seconds longer. We were out of the office by 3:20pm.

All we have to do now is wait for the schedule of our oathtaking ceremony. Yay!
