The past 19 years that I've been working, I've always taken leave on my birthday. But because there's so much work to do and nowhere else to go to, I decided to just spend my day at work.
I did manage to go out during lunch. I went to Chatswood to buy gifts for Ethan, who is celebrating his 8th birthday tomorrow. Got him a bunch of skylanders toys - his wish - and Lani is going to wrap them up while Ethan and I play basketball in the evening.The guys in the office did surprise me with a small cake and candle. Thought I was gonna get through without anyone knowing...
Tonight, we are going to Sae Jong Korean BBQ for dinner.
