Splendid indeed was the Aladdin musical that we watched with the kids on the 2nd of Feb. It was actually an impulse buy. Lani and I received an advert on our email and decided to book tickets.
It was a Thursday so Lani and I were both at work. I left office a bit early so I can pick up the kids while Lani stayed on for a meeting then took the train to the theatre. We met up at the Capitol Theatre, had a quick bite at Cafe De Wheels then headed inside. Ethan was complaining the whole time that it was going to be boring.
When the show started, both Erin and Erin's eyes were glued to the stage. The production numbers were fun, the stage lights and decorations are superb, and the sounds were electric. Ethan was dancing on his seat the whole time.
The weekend after, we went back to time and watched the original Aladdin movie by Disney.
